Belfast Giants goaltender Stephen Murphy will be sidelined for an unknown length of time after sustaining a groin injury.
The netminder was injured during the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) game against Coventry Blaze at Odyssey Arena.
Giants manager – Todd Kelman said: “We have been hit hard with injuries as of late, and losing Murph could have been disastrous. We’re happy that we were able to agree to terms with Garrett before he headed back to North America.”
